Sinopse
Sara e a sua mãe
Início do ano 2014. Sara tem seis anos e vive sozinha com a sua mãe em Sarajevo. Estão em plena mudança de casa. Mãe e filha, ajudadas por uma criança amiga, ao começarem a desencaixotar as suas coisas desenterram também as suas memórias, umas para partilhar e outras não.
O filme é um dos treze segmentos que compõem a longa-metragem "Pontes de Sarajevo", incluída na selecção oficial do 67º Festival de Cannes 2014.
Beginning of the year 2014. Sara is six years old and lives alone with her mother in Sarajevo. They are in the middle of moving to a new house. Mother and daughter, helped by a friendly child, as they unpack their things they also dig up their memories, ones that can be shared and others that can’t.
The film is one of the 13 segments that make the feature “Bridges of Sarajevo”, included in the official selection of the 67th Cannes Film Festival in 2014.

Revelando um olhar muito próximo do sofrimento dos portugueses durante a Guerra Colonial, A Idade Maior narra a história de uma família destroçada por essa realidade. Alex despede-se do pai, que parte para a guerra em África. Mantêm um contacto regular até que, eventualmente, Alex deixa de ter notícias. Um dia, ele e a mãe descobrem que o pai se encontra em Portugal.
Revealing a very close look at the Portuguese people’s sufferings during the colonial war, Alex tells the story of a family crushed by that reality. Alex says goodbye to his father, who goes to war in Africa. They keep in touch regularly but eventually Alex stops receiving news. One day, he and his mother find out that his father is in Portugal.
